The original version of Skyland AIO for Xbox was RIGHT at 1 gig. Bethesda's limit. By adding High Hrothgar, it tipped the scales. One on hand, that's bad because now it's two mods, on the other hand, I now have a little more room for nicer textures. The original AIO had A LOT of compromised textures to keep the size down.

I think both the AIO and LOD were recently updated. I currently use Tamriel Reloaded AIO and like it especially for its size. Combined with the full TR LOD at comes in about 400MB less than Skyland AIO and then LOD. Runs great on my XSS. My old XB1X never ran Skyland near as smooth but that prolly isn't a fair comparison.
